The GROW-Africa (Groundtruthing Remote-sensing for Optimizing Yield in Africa) Database includes georeferenced observations of crop across Africa for the period 1960-2023. For AGROSTAC the phenology (start and end) was extracted from the non-LSMS sources. These data sources include development agencies, non-profit organizations, and datasets published in the scientific literature.
